Area Girls Shine At WBCA All-Star Games

The Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Girls Basketball Games were played on Wednesday in the Wisconsin Dells and a handful of area recently graduated seniors took part.

In Division Two, Beaver Dam’s Natalie Jens scored a game high 25 and fellow Golden Beaver Paige Yagodinski scored 10 as their South squad blew out the North 111-71.

In Division One, Watertown’s Teya Maas scored 11 points for the South as they fell to the North team 93-73.  Gosling Head Coach Matt Stollberg and his assistants Erin Steurwald and Andrew Woodard led the South team.

In Division Four, the South stopped the North 77-57.  Marshall’s Anna Lutz led the South with 18 and Cardinal teammate Laura Nickel chipped in 8.

In the Division Five game, the South stopped the North 51-49.  Rio’s Adeline Hutzler had 5 points for the South.

The Boys All-Star Games are on Thursday
