Area Boys Play In WBCA All-Star Games

The Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association held their annual Boys All-Star Games on Thursday at Wisconsin Dells.  In the D2 Game, Beaver Dam’s Nate Abel scored 15 points in his White Team’s loss to the Red 118-108.

In D4, Dodgeland’s Bill Otte coached the Red Team to a 127-117 victory.  His son Sy scored 5 points in the win.

In D5, Seven area players suited up for the White Team, coached by Cambria-Friesland’s Derrick Smit and Rio’s Tim Struck and Robert Staveness blew out the Red 133-95.  Randolph’s Brayden Haffele, Cambria Friesland’s Kobe Smith and Griffin Hart, Rio’s Jacob Rowe and Pierson Schneider, and Hustisford’s Dylan Kuehl and Alex Eggelston played in the game for the winning team.
