(Wisconsin) An annual “tobacco report card” for Wisconsin confirms an alarming trend of youth e-cigarette use. Donna Wininsky with the American Lung Association says there has been good progress on youth smoking, but youth vaping has grown 78-percent between 2017 and 2018. Wininsky with the American Lung Association says ads give the impression that e-cigs are safer than regular cigarettes but are also nicotine delivery systems. The American Lung Association’s report card gives Wisconsin three F’s, one D, and one A.
