(Beaver Dam) A local non-profit recently received a generous donation from American Bank. Church Health Services, which is a United Way Agency, was handed a $10-thousand-dollar check that will be used for the expansion and renovation of their facility at 115 North Center Street.
The organization’s Executive Director Thea O’Connor says their mental health clinic has experienced a 52-percent increase in clients over 2022 and has created difficulties in accommodating their patients as well as staff in the current configuration. She adds that this expansion when completed will include a reception area, waiting room, and will add several confidential therapy spaces.
Church Health Services provides dental, medical, and mental health services to low-income children and adults living in South Central Wisconsin.
