(Allenton) An Allenton man has been identified as the motorist killed in a two-vehicle crash Thanksgiving night Amherst. The Portage County Sheriff’s Office says Douglas Curley lost control of his pickup towing a loaded utility trailer on Highway 10, entered the median and went airborne. The 58-year-old’s truck landed partially on a Jeep before rolling over and hitting a guardrail. Curley died at the scene. The driver and passenger in the Jeep were extricated by firefighters and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
