7/2/17 – The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection is accepting bids from county or counties to host the 2019 Alice in Dairyland Finals. Each year a different county hosts the event with the planning process beginning two years in advance. Brown County recently hosted this year’s finals, with the winner crowned at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Adams County is hosting next year’s event, in which six finalists will be interviewed by judges — and they’ll tour various sites throughout the host county, before a Saturday night banquet in which the winner is announced. Proposals are due by August 14. Submitted proposals may also be considered for 2020 and 2021 host county selections. For more information visit: datcp.wi.gov.
