Agnesian Healthcare Asks For Patience As They Work To Vaccinate Eligible Citizens

(Waupun) Agnesian Healthcare is currently reporting an adequate supply of the COVID-19 vaccine but is asking the public to be patient as they work to vaccinate eligible community members. The healthcare provider has been planning and implementing clinics in Waupun, Fond du Lac and Ripon since the state health department approved those aged 65-and-older to begin receiving the vaccine. They have also been working collaboratively with its public health department partners and the state to determine next steps. On January 25th, Agnesian clinics started vaccinating patients 75-and-older and – within the first week – had vaccinated more than 17-hundred people. A week later they opened vaccinations for those aged 65-and-older. Agnesian Healthcare officials say this approach allowed them to begin vaccinating patients as quickly, efficiently and equitably as possible. Those eligible to receive the vaccine can call 920-926-8400, the hotline is open daily from 7am to 5pm. You can also visit the Agnesian website at:
