Conley Publishing Group has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Accounting Assistant in our Beaver Dam office. This position focuses on AP, AR, cash applications, as well as preparing daily credit card and cash deposits. The successful candidate must be a self-motivated, detail-orientated individual with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced team environment. AP responsibilities include processing day-to-day vendor invoices, performing necessary validations, responding to vendor inquiries, review of vendor statements, data entry, and problem resolution. AR responsibilities include preparing billings, closings, posting payments, reconciling accounts, running month-end reports and statements. The candidate must be able to professionally and confidentially interact with internal and external individuals regarding customer accounts and internal billing questions.
Qualification requirements include a high school diploma with 2-3 years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Associate degree in Accounting would be a plus. Must have good verbal and math skills, excellent communication and organization skills; experience with Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.
