It was a record setting night for Beaver Dam’s Nate Abel in the Golden Beavers 88-63 win at Janesville Craig. The Michigan Tech recruit set a program record with 47 points to go along with 10 rebounds. Abel was 16 of 24 from the floor with six three-pointers in the win. He passes Dick Imme who scored 45 points twice in the 1966-67 season.
Abel also passes Matt Hein (’06) and moves into 2nd place on the school’s all-time scoring list with 1294 points. 2017 grad Garrett Nelson tops the list with 1403 career points.
