BD Post 146 19U Opens Legion State Tournament Play Tonight

The Beaver Dam Post 146 White Construction 19U American Legion baseball team heads to Antigo today for the American Legion AA State Baseball Tournament.

Post 146 (11-5) rolled through last week’s District 6 Regional going 3-0, including a 13-4 victory over Lomira-Theresa on Sunday night at the BDHS Diamond to earn a spot at state.

Beaver Dam will be making their 26th appearance in the AA State Tournament since 1979, which is the most in tournament history.  Post 146’s 52 AA State Tournament wins is the 2nd most in AA history behind Kimberly’s 60.  BD has five state championships and three runner-up finishes in AA.   BD also made four appearances in the AAA State Tournament (1937, 71, 85, 87).

Beaver Dam will face Antigo (10-10) in their tournament opener on Friday night at 7pm.
