St. Vincent De Paul Assisting Displaced Families Of Beaver Dam Apartment Fire

(Beaver Dam) St. Vincent de Paul of Dodge County is assisting those affected from the Lake Crest apartment fire. Fifteen families were displaced following the blaze at the 16 unit, two story structure on 108 Lake Crest Drive Thursday night. The non-profit has provided hotel stays to 10 apartment units seeking shelter. The organization also purchased over $2,800 in local restaurant gift cards to distribute. The restaurants visited also donated additional gift cards and meal vouchers, a total value of over $4,000. St. Vincent de Paul purchased $100 Kohl’s gift cards for every adult and children displaced. Kohl’s is offering a 30-percent discount for the affected residents in addition to the clothing items provided at the St. Vincent de Paul thrift store. Donations can also be mailed to the organization’s emergency fund.
