MPTC Named Military Friendly School For Eighth Consecutive Year

11/25/17 – The Moraine Park Technical College has been honored for their commitment to serving student veterans. The institution earned the 2018 Military Friendly School designation for the eighth consecutive year. The award recognizes the top colleges, universities, and trade schools nationwide that embrace America’s veterans as students. Moraine Park’s Dean of Students Scott Lieburn says the consistent designation as a Military Friendly School affirms their commitment to the military and he says they look forward to further serving student veterans and military members in the future. Moraine Park offers several resources for veterans including the Student Veterans Association which provides a support system to aid in their transition from military life to college and future endeavors.
