(Dodge County) Applications are now being accepted for the “2019 Dodge County Fairest of the Fair” contest. Program Coordinator Danielle Clark says the Fair Association is looking for girls age 18 as of January 2020. Clark, a past Fairest, says the winner will represent the Fair Association in media and promotional events at the 132nd Dodge County Fair and other summer events. The winner would also serve as the 2019 Fair Hostess and plan the 2020 competition. In addition, the Fairest will have the opportunity to participate in the 2020 Wisconsin Fairest of the Fairs contest at the Wisconsin Association of Fairs Annual Convention. Clark says the benefits of being Fairest include scholarship money, gifts and interview experience while building self-confidence and having a great time. Applications must be submitted by June 16. Applicants must be available for the Press Banquet on Monday, July 8 and for the Dodge County Fair August 14-18, 2019.
