19 Storage Units Damaged Following Fire At Barber Enterprises

(Fond du Lac) Nineteen storage units were damaged following a fire at Barber Enterprises in the township of Friendship Monday night. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office received reports of the blaze just after 11pm. Sergeant Alex Volm says a passerby called the Communications Center and said smoke was coming from one of the storage units. Of the nineteen units damaged, five are considered a complete loss as well as their contents. Volm says there is believed to be approximately $100-thousand dollars in damage to the building itself. The exact monetary amount of damage done to the contents of the storage units is undetermined. No one was injured and the cause of the blaze is still being investigated.
