The Rio High School girls basketball team is off at a 12-6 start this season that has included a run of eight wins in their last 10 contests. They are currently tied for 4th in the Trailways West with a 5-5 league mark.
Senior Emily Loging has led the Vikings in scoring (18 ppg) and rebounding (11.5 rpg) this season while freshman Emma Sampson (10.6ppg & 9.6rpg) has also been steady on the floor. Six total Vikings have scored in double figures this season for Rio.
The Vikings travel to Watertown Luther Prep tonight.
