The Columbus High School boys basketball team is off to a 10-4 start this season under 1st year coach Jeffrey Downing. The Cardinals currently sit in 3rd place behind league leader Lake Mills and 2nd place Lakeside Lutheran with a 3-2 mark. Their league losses this season game Lake Milles 58-57 on January 26th and at Lakeside Lutheran 62-44 back on January 6th. This past Saturday, C-Bus picked up an impressive 80-66 win over D5 #2 Fall River.
Senior AJ Uttech leads the Cardinals in scored at 20.6 ppg while Nathan Cotter also scores in double figures at 14.0 ppg. Six different Columbus players have scored in double figures this season.
Columbus hosts Lakeside Lutheran on Friday night.
