William “Bill” R. Buchda

William “Bill” R. Buchda, age 60, formerly of Fox Lake, passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Country Villa Assisted Living in Omro.

William was born on June 6, 1958 in Waupun, the son of Donald and Dorice (Hedman) Buchda. He worked at Schumann Printers in Fall River for several years and also bartended at Mr. B’s in Fox Lake. A member of the Rock River Radio Club, Bill also enjoyed researching his family genealogy. Known locally as “Klancy the Klown”, he looked forward to making appearances at the Fox Lake St. Patrick’s Day Parade and other local events, where he enjoyed making balloon animals.

William is survived by his siblings, Lennart (Debra) Buchda of Randolph, Nancy (Ken) Freriks of Waupun, Bev (Dale) Gruszynski of Omro, John Buchda of Randolph and Jerry Buchda of Fox Lake; and further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, special great-great-nephew “Domino” as he liked to call Dominick, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and other relatives.

A memorial gathering for William will be held on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.
