(Dodge County) The Dodge County for Home and Community Education is inviting the public to attend an upcoming learning session. Titled Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way, the educational session will address the topic of estate planning. Considered to be ultimately one of the most significant things you can do for yourself and loved ones, estate planning, is a topic for adults who are just starting out, as much as it is for adults later in life who have already accumulated a household and a list of treasured belongings. Creating trusts can protect families with young children, prevent belongings from going into the wrong hands, and may prevent family disputes. Presenter Attorney Mark Sweet will be on hand to present on how to start an Estate, the difference between a Living Trust versus a Will, and advise you on how to choose your trustee. Sweet will also answer questions attendees may have regarding their estate planning.
Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way, will be held on Tuesday, March 19th at 6pm at the Dodge County Administration Building Auditorium in Juneau. Individuals interested in attending can do so by calling the UW-Extension Office at 920-386-3790.
