Waupun School Board Hires Firm In Search For Superintendent

(Waupun) The Waupun School Board has hired a firm in their search for a new Superintendent. District Administrator Tonya Gubin is resigning effective June 30 after six years with Waupun. The board recently secured the services of School Exec Connect (SEC) to assist in the recruitment process. SEC will coordinate the advertising of the position, creation of a superintendent profile through surveys and focus groups, and vet applicants to develop a competitive candidate pool. The school board will then narrow down the finalists and schedule opportunities that staff and the community to meet the candidates and offer feedback. School Board President Bill Bruins says the goal is to have the search process complete by the end of June to enable a smooth transition.
