Waupun Man Pleads Not Guilty To House Break In

4/13/17 – A Waupun man accused of breaking into a house to steal money and jewelry was arraigned yesterday. Joshua Gierach entered a plea of not guilty to a felony count of Burglary of a Building or Dwelling. Gierach reportedly told officers he did take and pawn jewelry from the State Street home but denied stealing the $800 in cash.  The 23-year-old allegedly said he was under the influence at the time of the July burglary.  If he is convicted, Gierach could face over 12 years in prison.
