Waupun Man Gets Probation For Police Chase

12/21/17 – A Waupun man will spend one year on probation for running from police. Jordan Foster pled Wednesday to reduced misdemeanor charges of Failing To Stop, Resisting an Officer and Possession of Marijuana. A Waupun police officer clocked Foster travelling 20 miles-per-hour over the speed limit in July. When the officer activated his emergency lights, the 19-year-old sped away. After pulling into a driveway, he and a passenger fled on foot. The passenger was not located. Foster was apprehended a short time later and officers detected a strong odor of intoxicants. His preliminary breath test was point-zero-eight (.08). Authorities recovered several cans of beer, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana in Foster’s car.
