Waupun Hospital Draws Large Crowd For Advocacy Day

(Waupun) More than 1,000 people attended the Wisconsin Hospital Association’s Advocacy Day event at Waupun Memorial.  The annual event connects hospital supporters from across the state with their legislators in Madison to help lawmakers learn how issues impact local hospitals and communities. Waupun Memorial Hospital chief operating officer DeAnn Thurmer says the hospital was proud to have been part of the tremendous day and of Wisconsin’s reputation of providing some of the highest quality, highest value care in the nation. Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch was the keynote speaker this year.
