(Waupun) The Waupun Fire Department held it’s “Fill Our Tanks” food drive yesterday (Saturday) and are calling the event a huge success. Together with the help of community donations and the support of corporate sponsors, the Waupun Fire Department was able to collect 7280 lbs of food and $700 for the Waupun Food Pantry. The Waupun Fire Department offers up a special thanks to it’s corportate sponsors, Waupun Piggly Wiggly, Guth’s Candy, Del Monte Foods in Markesan, Seneca Foods Corporation in Cambria, Seneca Foods Clymen, and Seneca Foods Corporation Oakfield, as well as everyone else who donated and helped to stock the food pantry shelves for the holiday season.
