Watertown Police Seek Suspect in Back-To Back Robberies

2/1/17 – The Watertown Police Department is asking the public for information that could help them track down the suspect in two gas station robberies Monday evening. The first incident occurred just before 8pm at the Clark Gas Station on South Third Street. Authorities say the suspect was not able to take any money because he was possibly injured in the head prior to fleeing on foot. About a half hour later, there was a second robbery at the Clark Gas Station on East Main Street. In that instance, the suspect displayed a small knife and made-off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Officers reviewed video surveillance footage and say that it appears to be the same person from the prior robbery. The suspect is described as a white male, wearing a camo jacket and moccasins, black gloves and a black face mask.
