(Dodge County) Vehicle sales in Dodge County for the first eleven months of the year outpaced last year’s numbers. According to figures released by the Waterloo-based industry tracking firm Reg-Trak, there were 2,913 trucks sold in Dodge County from January through November, an increase of 11-percent. At the same time, there were 515 cars sold, a decrease of over 25-percent. Overall, sales were up just over four-percent to around 34-hundred vehicles. In Columbia County, there were 24-hundred vehicle sales through last month for a decrease of two-percent. Truck sales were up two-percent while car sales were down 20-percent. Jefferson County also saw over 24-hundred car and light trucks roll off dealer lots, an overall decrease of two-percent from last year. For the nine-county, south-central Wisconsin region as a whole, there were just over 43-thousand vehicle sales over the eleven-month period, a decrease of nearly 1-and-a-half percent. Car sales were down slightly at 10-thousand-two-hundred-and-seventy-three while truck sales were up by over 32-thousand sold.
