(Clyman) Two men were charged Monday with burglarizing a bar in Clyman. Twenty-one-year-old Kaleb Reardon and 19-year-old Matthew Schneider, both of Clyman, are charged with felony Burglary as well as a misdemeanor count of Theft. On Sunday morning (March 31), a Dodge County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Mercer T’s after a relative of the owners reported a break-in. A window on a door was smashed causing roughly $100 in damage. Alcohol, cigarettes and a money jar were taken, totaling over $400. The relative reportedly named Schneider as a suspect and he is roommates with Reardon. Authorities obtained a search warrant and allegedly found many of the missing items inside of Reardon’s apartment. Cash bond was set at $5,000 for Reardon while the Schneider had bond set at $750. If convicted, Reardon is facing over 19 years in prison and Schneider is facing roughly 14 years behind bars. A judge will decide next week if there is enough evidence to order a trial.
