Two Beaver Dam Elementary Schools Recognized

(Beaver Dam) Two elementary schools in Beaver Dam have been recognized for their academic achievement. Jefferson and Lincoln Elementary have been selected by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction as part of Wisconsin Schools of Recognition. The award acknowledges schools for their exemplar academic achievement through rigorous programming and attention to individual student needs. Jefferson and Lincoln were also recognized as Beating the Odds Schools for high achievement in math and reading. District Superintendent Mark DiStefano says the academic success in all Beaver Dam schools is reflective of the hard work and dedication by all district staff, students and parents. Both facilities are two of only 135 elementary schools that were recognized by the state.
