Truck Heading From Beaver Dam To Houston Friday

9/7/17 – A truck load of supplies is leaving Beaver Dam for hurricane ravaged Houston, Texas tomorrow evening. Truck driver Dylan Mott of Waterloo will be making the 17-hour drive to Houston with a trailer full of donated water, diapers, baby formula and canned goods. American National Bank President and CEO John Oathout heard about Mott’s efforts on Facebook and reached out for a collaboration. American National Bank is picking up the expenses from Mott’s time off work and the trucking company he works for, Airoldi Brothers of Oak Creek, is donating the trailer. In addition to stocking the truck, money is also being raised to cover the estimated $1200 expense of filling the gas tank. Items and cash donations are being accepted at all three American National Bank locations in Beaver Dam, on Front Street, North Spring Street and in the Wal-Mart Supercenter, along with the Beaver Dam Piggly Wiggly.  Mott is working with the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County who are in the Houston area and will be on the receiving end of the truckload.
