Trinity Church In Beaver Dam To Hold Animal Blessing Sunday

(Beaver Dam) There is a special church service planned tomorrow for those wishing to bless a beloved pet. Trinity Church – United Methodist in Beaver Dam is inviting the public to bring a domesticated animal to their morning service. Pastor Cherie Forret says this the first time that she is aware of having a service like this in Beaver Dam but is a practice she has done as pastor at other churches. Forret says that all members of the public are welcomed to attend and people do not have to be members of the church in order to participate in the blessing. She says that all pets must arrive restrained for safety. Forret says animals play an important role in daily life. She says there will be a traditional service at 8:15am in the sanctuary with the animal blessing taking place at 9:30am in the outdoor prayer garden. Trinity Church – United Methodist is located on 308 Oneida Street.
