Three Years In Prison For Ninth OWI

(Wautoma) A Wautoma man was sentenced Thursday to three years in prison for driving impaired for a ninth time. A jury found Larry Lee Linde guilty last month following a two-day trial. Linde was pulled over for speeding in 2015 in the Town of Clyman. The officer noted the smell of marijuana, and a search of his vehicle uncovered illegal contraband under the hood. The 60-year-old failed a field sobriety test, and a blood draw confirmed the drugs presence. In addition to prison, Linde was placed extended supervision for five years and must blow into a tube to start his car for three years.
