Three Milwaukee Residents Arrested For Lomira Interstate Armed Robbery

10/17/17 – Three Milwaukee residents have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery on the interstate near Lomira early Monday morning. Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says a West Bend police officer was conducting a traffic stop for reckless driving when the motorist reported that she was robbed at the Exxon gas station on Interstate 41 shortly after 1am. She told law enforcement that two individuals displayed a gun and demanded money while she was in her car. The pair stole her cell phone before she fled the scene. A Washington County Sheriffs deputy apprehended the suspects on I-41 a short time later. A firearm and the victim’s cellphone were reportedly found inside the vehicle. The three occupants were transported to the Dodge County Detention Facility. A 19-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for obstructing an officer, a 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of stolen property, and an 18-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for theft and a probation hold. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office also issued multiple citations and requests for charges. The incident is under investigation.
