(Beaver Dam) Village Glen Apartment building 107 was reopened to residents Friday afternoon. Officials have been monitoring the air quality since the control burn of building 109 Thursday. The Beaver Dam Police Department say data samples show that the air is safe for tenants to return. The Prairie Ridge facility may be opened Friday and health officials will be communicating updates to staff directly. The controlled burn was ordered following a fatal March 5th blast that revealed volatile, homemade chemicals so unstable they first had to be detonated, before the entire building was burned to the ground.
