Taking Care Of You Event Hosted By Dodge County UW Extension

(Juneau) The University of Wisconsin Madison Extension office in Dodge County wants you to take care of you.  Recognizing that we have many demands on our time, balancing work and family time, caring for a parent, and even running kids around, the Dodge County UW Extension office is offering a free one-hour introductory workshop.

Taking Care of You is a research-based, multi-session program developed by the University of Missouri-Extension that offers practical strategies and experiences to help people deal with the stress in their lives. Managing life’s challenges in healthy ways allows people to take better care of themselves and their overall health. At its most basic level, Taking Care of You increases participants’ awareness of their bodies, how stress affects them, and strategies for healthier responses to stress.

At the free one hour introductory session, Pattie Carrol, Human Development and Relationships educator and Clair Grosenick Human Development and Relationship educator intern  will explain the benefits of the Taking Care of you program.  The introductory session will be held Thursday March 14th 2019 from Noon till 1pm at the Dodge County Administration Building.  The session is free, but space is limited.  Those interested in attending should call the Dodge County UW Madison Extension Office at (920) 386-3790 to reserve a spot.
