Spring Election: School Board Races

(Columbus) There are also a number of local school board seats coming due in April. Four candidates are running for three open spots in the Columbus School District: incumbent Bill Braun has filed papers along with Julie Hajewski, John Sanderson, and Barbara Hesselberg.

(Mayville) There will be a contested race for all three Mayville School Board seats up this April. Vying for the Zone One North seat is incumbent John Westphal and challenger Sue Steele. In Zone Three South, incumbent James Congdon will face challenger Patrick O’Toole. In Zone Four City, incumbent Laangela Davis is facing challenger Ronald Andes.

(Waupun) Two candidates are vying for an open at-large district seat on the Waupun School Board. Stephen Chenè and Kim Pokorny are vying for Kathy Schlieve’s spot after she filed non-candidacy. For the City of Fox Lake and the towns of Fox Lake and Westford seat incumbent Ronald Paul is running unopposed.

(Horicon) In Horicon, Meredith Strieff is running for the open Town of Hubbard/Oak Grove seat after incumbent Kim Ketchem filed non-candidacy paperwork. Incumbents Eric Krause-Emerick, Amanda White, and David Westimayer are all running unopposed.

(Beaver Dam/Juneau) In both Beaver Dam and Dodgeland, all incumbents have filed candidacy paperwork and are running unopposed in the April election.
