(Friesland) Alsum Farms and Produce is inviting runners, walkers and all those who support FFA to join them for the Second Annual Tater Trot 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Alsum Farms and Produce in Friesland. The event will benefit local FFA Chapters. Organizers say the Tater Trot not only helps support the local FFA chapters but also provides those in attendance an opportunity to learn about the nutritional and economic benefits of Wisconsin potatoes. Attendees are invited to run or walk the scenic rural route nestled within the Amish countryside in Friesland starting at Alsum Farms.
The event will feature free parking, free kids fun rides, Alsum potato samples with fruit and water, a farm fresh produce and vendor market, activity station for the kids, meet and greet with Spudly and a walk through the Wisconsin Spudmobile.
