Rock River Archaeology Society Presents Indian History Program

(Dodge County) The Rock River Archaeology Society will be presenting a program on the Indian History of Wisconsin during an upcoming January meeting.  Presented by Julie Flemming the program will focus on “What the Federal Government and State/Territory of Wisconsin Did to Our Wisconsin Indian Tribes.  In her talk Flemming will share the sad early history of Wisconsin Native American Tribes.  She will tell of their unfair treatment, their tears, and the reason why many Wisconsin Native American decedents no longer live within Wisconsin.  Flemming says the program does not portray a pretty story, nor a happy story of the “First People of Wisconsin” and was developed after a lot of research by Historian Julie Flemming.  The General Public is invited to attend any and all programs put on by the Rock River Archaeology Society.
