11/10/17 – Reservations are now being accepted for the Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce Annual Economic Development Luncheon. The event is designed to bring local and regional information to community leaders. Mayor Becky Glewen will give her first state-of-the-city address since being elected last spring. Beaver Dam School Superintendent Mark DiStefano will also provide his first overview of the district. County Board Chairman Russ Kottke will speak about county matters. This year’s keynote speaker is John Koskinen, with the State Revenue Department, who will talk about how Wisconsin has its strongest economy in 18 years. Beaver Dam Chamber President Phil Fritsche says Koskinen’s message is important for the business community and the general public to hear. The luncheon will be held this year at the new John Deere plant in Horicon and will include a tour of the new facility following presentations. The event will be held on Wednesday, November 22.
