Reeseville Man Accused Of Fleeing From Law Enforcement

(Beaver Dam) An arrest warrant has been issued for a Reeseville man who is accused of fleeing from law enforcement this past Wednesday. Matthew Hansen is facing one felony count of Fleeing or Eluding a Traffic Officer. While a Dodge County Sheriff’s deputy was attempting a traffic stop southbound of County Road G in the town of Lowell during the early morning hours, he noticed a second vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The deputy began following the vehicle and reportedly tracked its speeds ranging from 90 to 116-miles-per-hour. The pursuit continued into the Fall River area and was later called off after the deputy lost sight of the suspect. Authorities reportedly traced the vehicles license plate to Hansen who was allegedly identified as the driver through two other passengers who were in the car at the time. If convicted, the 25-year-old faces at the most three-and-a-half years in prison.
