Randolph Police Release Updated Robbery Suspect Descriptions

6/15/17 – Authorities in Randolph have released an updated description of the suspects and now also the vehicle that was involved in the armed robbery at Piggly Wiggly Monday evening. Village Police Chief Michael Klavekoske says two suspects are each black males who were wearing light-colored hooded sweatshirts, blue jeans and had a white cloth concealing their faces. One suspect is described as six-feet (6’) tall, average build, wearing a pair of blue or black shorts with white trim over his jeans. The second suspect is approximately five-foot-eight-inches (5’8”) tall with a light build. The two were driving a small, four door vehicle that is light in color and left Randolph around 9:45pm Monday heading south on Highway 73. Each suspect was armed with a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money, leaving the store with an undisclosed amount of cash from both the store and the individual employees.
