Randolph Man Robbed Over The Weekend

(Randolph) Two men were arrested over the weekend following a strong-armed robbery in Randolph. Police Chief Michael Klavekoske says a Randolph man reported the incident around 2:15pm on Saturday saying that he was robbed by two individuals in a public alley near Williams Street. The victim told police that physical force was used to take money and that no weapons were displayed during the incident.

Klavekoske says the man was able to provide a description of the suspect’s vehicle, which was later stopped on Highway 151 in Dane County. The two men were arrested and booked into the Dodge County Jail. The victim’s cellphone and cash were found inside the vehicle along with a small amount of marijuana.

Klavekoske says this was an isolated incident and that the victim was familiar with one of the suspects. He adds that charges of Robbery, Possession of Marijuana and Bail Jumping are being forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.
