Plane Violates Presidential Airspace, Lands In Juneau

6/14/17 – No one wants an F-16 fighter jet on their tail. So says Sheriff Dale Schmidt after a small Cessna plane violated the president’s restricted airspace yesterday around 4pm before landing at the Dodge County Airport in Juneau. Trump spoke at Waukesha County Technical College Monday. Schmidt says he personally responded to the airport and interviewed the pilot and determined that he was unaware of the air space restriction. Federal authorities are investigating further. The sheriff says there was no threat to public safety from the incident although the two jets certainly created noise and conversation in Juneau. Schmidt reminds pilots to check their flight plans before taking off.
