Plane Headed For EAA Crashes In Missouri, 2 Dead

7/29/17 – Eastern Missouri officials say two people from Arkansas died in the crash of a small plane Thursday night.  The plane was reportedly headed to the EAA AirVenture 2017 in Oshkosh as it took off from the airport in Mexico, Missouri.  Bobby and Shannon Faulkner of Greenwood, Arkansas, were killed when the single-engine plane went down.  They were dead at the scene.  A G-P-S locator was used to direct searchers to the wreckage of the aircraft in a soybean field near Laddonia.  Federal investigators and working with local authorities on the case.
