Pewaukee Man Jailed For Hustisford Burglary

(Hustisford) A Pewaukee man was sentenced to 60 days in jail with work release privileges Tuesday for his role in burglarizing a residence in Hustisford. Nicholas Lee entered a guilty plea to one felony count of Burglary, a second felony Burglary charge was dismissed but read into the record. A second suspect, Kyle Malak of Beaver Dam, was placed on probation for two years last month for his role in the crime. On two separate occasions Lee entered the Lake Street property between December of 2016 and May of 2017. The home owner reported missing $500 cash, a TV, $20 in change and $50 worth of rare coins from both incidents. During the May burglary, Lee was identified through security cameras that captured the break-in. Lee admitted to investigators that he committed the crimes. The 20-year-old Malak was implicated on the security footage as well and also admitted that he served as “look-out” while Lee entered the home. In addition to jail, the 21-year-old Lee was placed on probation for three years.
