(Town of Calamus) One person was seriously injured Tuesday morning during a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on Highway 151. At around 5:30am the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area north of Jackson Road in the Town of Calamus. The preliminary investigation shows a Honda was travelling north on 151 in the right/outside traffic lane. Two pedestrians, one female and one male, were walking along the same traffic lane. The female was struck by the right side of the vehicle and she was thrown into the grass area east of the Highway. The male driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was not injured, he stopped at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement. The male pedestrian was not injured but the female was transported to Beaver Dam Hospital and later flown by Flight for Life to UW Madison. The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office. Assisting at the scene was the Beaver Dam Fire Department and the Beaver Dam Police Department.
