Olive “Dolly” Vossekuil

Olive “Dolly” Vossekuil, 93, of Fox Lake, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018 at Anchor Communities Assisted Living in Fox Lake.

 

Dolly was born March 29, 1925 in Mt. Calvary, WI the daughter of John and Monica Kohlmann Boehlen.  Dolly attended Fond du Lac schools and moved to Waupun in 1943. On July 28, 1945 she married Leon Vossekuil in Waupun.  Following their marriage the couple resided in Waupun all their married lives. Dolly was employed at National Rivet in Waupun as an inspector for 38 years and retired in 1988. Dolly was a member of First Reformed Church in Waupun and Waupun Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She did volunteer work at the Waupun Food Pantry.

 

Dolly is survived by a son, Dean Vossekuil and special friend, Tracy Hoeppner of Waupun; two granddaughters who she adored: Devan (Taylor) Nehls of Beaver Dam, and Dedra (Lukas) Buteyn of Fond du Lac; a sister, Alice Thorsby of Fond du Lac; and a brother, Jerome F(Mary) Boehlen of Fond du Lac.

 

Dolly was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Vossekuil; and a sister, Marge Graff.

 

Funeral services for Dolly Vossekuil will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. at First Reformed Church in Waupun with Rev. Barry Lang officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
