NOVEMBER 8TH – HARVEY WALLBANGER/TRY A NEW RECIPE

Harvey Wallbanger Cake

1 box yellow cake mix

1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix

4 eggs

½ c. vegetable oil

¼ c. vodka

¼ c. Galliano liqueur

¾ c. fresh orange juice

Glaze:

1 c. powdered sugar

2 Tbsp. frozen orange juice concentrate

2 Tbsp. Galliano liqueur

2 Tbsp. vodka

Preheat oven to 350°. Generously grease & lightly flour a Bundt or tube pan. In bowl, combine all ingredients except glaze. Beat on HIGH for 4 minutes. Pour batter into pan & bake for 45-50 minutes or until cake tests done. Leave cake in pan to cool about 5 minutes; invert onto cooling rack. Prepare glaze. Poke holes all over cake with toothpick or skewer. Pour glaze slowly & evenly over warm cake, allowing as much as possible to soak in. For glaze:  whisk together all ingredients until smooth. Warm slightly in microwave before pouring over cake.
