NOVEMBER 27TH – BAVARIAN CREAM PIE

Bavarian Chocolate Torte

1 pkg. Devil’s Food Cake mix

1 pint whipping cream

8 oz. cream cheese

2/3 c. brown sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

Dash of salt

2-3 Tbsp. grated unsweetened chocolate

Prepare cake according to package directions (2-9” round pans). Cool completely. Beat whipping cream until stiff. In separate bowl, combine cream cheese, brown sugar. Beat in vanilla & salt. Fold cream cheese mix into whipped cream mixture. Split each cake layer in half (horizontally). Frost each layer and sprinkle grated chocolate on top of each layer. Refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
