NOVEMBER 26TH – CAKE

Pumpkin Pie Cake

1 large can pumpkin (3 c.)

3 eggs

½ tsp. salt

1 large can evaporated milk (or 1 can sweetened condensed milk-skip the sugar)

4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice (or ½ tsp. cloves, 1 tsp. cinnamon, ½ tsp. ginger, ½ tsp. nutmeg)

1 c. sugar

1 box yellow cake mix, dry

1 ½ c. cubed butter

Chopped walnuts, if desired

Mix pumpkin, eggs, milk, salt, spices, & sugar together; place in greased 9×13” pan. Sprinkle dry yellow cake mix over top; Dot with 1 ½ c. cubed butter pieces; sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream.
