Nola J. Klomberg

Nola J. Klomberg, 71, of Beaver Dam passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 05, 2017 at her home.

Nola was born the daughter of Wilmer and Vonda (Goheen) Loppnow on April 26, 1946 in Oconomowoc, WI.  She was a graduate of Oconomowoc High School and Madison Business College.  Nola was married to James Klomberg on July 20, 1969 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc.

Nola was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.  She enjoyed going for walks and boating on Beaver Dam Lake.  She also enjoyed car rides with Jim in their Mustang.  Nola will be missed.

Nola is survived by her husband, Jim of Beaver Dam; her son, Kurt (Gloria) Klomberg of Waupun; her grandchildren: Justine (Brian Clerkin) Klomberg of McFarland and Eloise Klomberg of Waupun; her great-grandson, Kingsley Clerkin; her siblings: Lila (Jerry) Binder, Jan (Warren) Schmidt, Claudia Schuhmacher, Claude (Sharon) Loppnow, Craig “Kelly” Loppnow, and Dade Loppnow; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Peace Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m.  Rev. Mark Wenzel will officiate.

Memorials may be directed to the Brain Injury Alliance of Wisconsin or to Peace Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.

The Klomberg family would like to thank the past and present caregivers over the past 24 years for providing Nola a wonderful quality of life and especially to Patty Knoll for all of her years of loving care.
