New Video Captures Beaver Dam High School Remodeling Progress

(Beaver Dam) A new video is available for those looking to get a visual understanding of the progress being made on the reconstruction of the Beaver Dam High School. School administrators and construction officials walked DailyDodge.com through the construction zone in January and we have assembled a 20-minute video of highlights from that tour. The video features images of the brand-new fieldhouse, locker rooms, strength and conditioning rooms, mechanical and electrical infrastructure, the commons area and future office spaces. In addition, Superintendent Mark DiStefano and High School Principal Crystal Bates walk through several classrooms that are in a state of flux, being used for one thing during the construction only to be converted to its intended purpose after the project is complete next fall. The video also offers a look at the final stages of the culinary arts classrooms, which are just now opening up to students. Voters approved a $49-million-dollar referendum in the fall of 2016 with the lions share directed to an overhaul of the high school.
